Gregg Perry is the lead decorative arts, wood restoration/metallurgy professor and the National Watch & Clock Museum School in Columbia, PA.

Lacquer Work (Japanning-Chinoiserie)

Perry has trained under Masters in this most painstaking of the restoration trades, Japanning and Chinoiserie lacquer restoration, requiring an understanding of centuries old techniques of both Eastern and Western materials.  He has the expertise to consolidate and match surfaces, including traditional Chinese lacquer screens, Export furniture chinoiserie and Japan decorated furniture and objects along with their quasi-American decorated counterparts.
